The lake effect snow storm continues to pound parts of Western New York. While the North County is not in the heaviest band, there is enough snow to slick up area roads and highway. County Executive Vince Horrigan says he held a conference call on Monday and developed a plan to deal with the storm.
Horrigan-work out plan
Horrigan says the Red Cross has set up a shelter at Fredonia Central and may set up another one in Ripley. The entire length of the Thruway from Exit 61 in Ripley to Exit 46 near Rochester remains closed in both directions. Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties remain under a Lake Effect Snow Warning until 10 am on Wednesday.
