A Cattaraugus County man who is on the county's Animal Abuse Registry was arrested after he was allegedly found to be in possession of animals. The Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office says the arrest of 65-year-old Gerald Nason, Jr. of Ashford occurred after a search warrant was executed on his property at 5109 Folts Road. The registry bars anyone on the list from possessing or being around animals. Nason was released with an appearance ticket for Ashford Town Court.
