A Westfield man has been charged with a pair felonies stemming from a reported disturbance at the Thruway Holiday Motel in the village. Westfield Police were called to the scene on North Portage Street shortly before 5:30 PM Sunday and encountered an active altercation involving multiple people. Officers intervened and took 18-year-old Caleb Dellahoy into custody. According to police, an investigation indicates that Dellahoy allegedly assaulted multiple individuals and caused significant property damage. He was charged with 2nd-degree assault and 3rd-degree criminal mischief. Officers add that at a subsequent encounter at a local medical facility, Dellahoy allegedly became combative toward medical personnel and law enforcement officers. That conduct remains under investigation, and additional charges are expected. Dellahoy was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
