Fredonia continues to hold bragging rights over Dunkirk in their long-running high school football rivalry. On Friday night, in a game broadcast on WDOE, the Hillbillies defeated the Marauders by a 29-7 score at the Orange Bowl to retain the Central Connection Mayors Cup. Fredonia has now won 24 of the last 27 meetings with Dunkirk dating back to 1999.
