The Cassadaga Valley Central School District is moving forward with a proposed $18.2 million capital improvement project. District officials say the project is "focused on protecting our buildings, improving learning environments, and investing in our students' future." It includes replacing multiple aging unit ventilators to improve heating and ventilation, adding air conditioning in selected areas, various improvements across the district's elementary school, middle and high school, and bus garage. CVCS also plans to upgrade its nursing office and expand its guidance suite to better serve students. District officials add that the project will have no additional tax impact. A vote on the project is scheduled for Tuesday, December 15th.
