Rain from Isaias Expected to Hit Southern Tier by Sunday

Forecasters in Western New York are keeping tabs on the first Atlantic hurricane of the season, which is expected to impact the region this weekend. Isaias reached hurricane status late Wednesday night and is expected to make landfall along the Gulf coast, then continue heading north towards the Ohio Valley. Meteorologist Keith Jaszka with the National Weather Service in Buffalo says precipitation from the remnants of Isaias is expected to arrive here by Sunday...

Jaszka says winds will also pick up in the region on Sunday, but they're not expected to be a problem.
