

A barn and shop were destroyed in a Tuesday morning fire in the Town of Clymer. Firefighters from six departments were called to 8023 Ravlin Hill Road at about 5:15 AM and found both the barn and shop fully involved. According to Sherman firefighters, efforts were focused on protecting a nearby residence from the intense fire, and it was saved with only minimal damage. No injuries were reported, and all of the animals in the barn were able to get out safely. Clymer Fire received mutual aid from Ashville, Sherman, Panama, Findley Lake and Corry. Chautauqua County Emergency Services also assisted at the scene.
