A Brocton man is accused of entering someone's vehicle in Jamestown on Monday and stealing items from it. Jamestown Police were called to the Riverwalk Center at about 6:00 PM, and while en route, were advised that a male was being chased down by the vehicle's registered owner after the alleged theft occurred. Officers say 35-year-old Steven Seavy was taken into custody near St. Susan Center, where he was allegedly found in possession of the victim's wallet, which included credit cards and their ID. Seavy was charged with petit larceny, 4th-degree grand larceny and tampering with physical evidence. He was held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
