A quick stop was made to a fire at a restaurant in the Town of Hanover late Wednesday night. Firefighters from Bay Creek and Forestville were called to Aunt Millie's on Routes 5 and 20 shortly after 11:15 PM. On arrival, crews located a ceiling fan in the bathroom that was on fire. According to Bay Creek Fire, an employee used an extinguisher to put out the flames, and because of that quick action, the damage was very minor.
