19-Year-Old Man Arrested for Felony Warrant, Possessing Stolen Credit Cards

A Jamestown man is facing several charges for allegedly possessing stolen credit cards and using one of them at a city business. Jamestown Police say they were patrolling the East 5th Street at about 9:00 AM Friday when they saw 19-year-old Connor Dale, who was wanted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office on a felony warrant for grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. Officers add that there were pending charges against Dale, who allegedly used a stolen credit card at a business the previous day. As Dale was taken into custody on his outstanding warrant, he was allegedly found to be in possession of four additional credit cards belonging to three separate victims. According to police, the credit cards had been stolen during vehicle larcenies early Friday morning. Dale was transported to the Jamestown City Jail on his outstanding warrant, along with one count of 3rd-degree identity theft and five counts of 4th-degree criminal possession of stolen property. He is current being held in the Chautauqua County Jail.
