Lake Shore Center for the Arts Prepares for New Season of Songwriters in Concert

The Lake Shore Center for the Arts is getting ready for the start of a new season of an initiative that showcases several songwriters from across the region. The Songwriters in Concert series is made possible through a grant from the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation. Tim Wright, who is in charge of that program, says the season will get underway on Wednesday at 7:30 PM and will feature three songwriters every month...

A total of 36 songwriters will be showcased for the season, which runs through July 2027. Wright, who was a guest on WDOE's "Viewpoint" program, says many of artists are from Buffalo, but adds that efforts are being made to include more artists from other areas...
