A Brocton man lost his life in a one-vehicle crash in the Town of Chautauqua Saturday morning. The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office responded to Burdick Road shortly before 7:30 AM and determined that a northbound vehicle driven by 44-year-old Ryan Evans left the roadway into an embankment and struck a tree. The Sheriff's Office says Evans succumbed to his injuries. The Sheriff's Office Accident Reconstruction Team and the North Lake Fire Department assisted at the scene.
