
An 18-year-old Falconer man has been charged with a felony count of 2nd-degree criminal mischief following an investigation into a report of several tires damaged through the village. According to Ellicott Town Police, the man allegedly used a sharp instrument to damage the vehicles. Officers say some vehicles had all four tires damaged, and there were two vehicles for a household that had their times damaged as well. A witness identified the suspect, and video footage was provided to police, confirming his identity. Officers located the man shortly after the incident and arrested him on Tuesday. The suspect, whose name has not been released, was issued an appearance ticket in accordance with New York State's bail reform law and will answer the charge in Ellicott Town Court at a later date.
