A man from Long Island faces a felony charge after an investigation into an incident in the Village of Mayville. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies responded to a location on Erie Street shortly after 3:00 PM last Tuesday. As a result of the probe, deputies charged 41-year-old Adrian Smith of Uniondale with 3rd-degree criminal mischief. Smith was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.
