One person was transported to an area hospital as the result of a two-vehicle, head-on crash on Route 430 in the Town of Sherman on Wednesday. First responders from Sherman were called to the scene at about 12:00 PM, when a passenger vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer. The driver of the passenger vehicle was taken to the Hamot Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. State Police and Chautauqua County EMS provided assistance.
