Residents are being advised to stay out of the water along the beaches of Chautauqua and Erie counties for the next couple of days. The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a beach hazards statement for the area until 2:00 AM Tuesday. Forecasters say strong currents are dangerous swimming conditions are expected.
