A Hanover man was arrested and charged with DWI, along with other traffic violations. Officers with the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on Routes 5 and 20 in the Town of Hanover on Saturday around 2:41 PM. The operator was identified as 42-year-old Justin Legere. Further investigation found that Legere was allegedly driving while intoxicated. Legere was taken into custody and charged with aggravated DWI, DWI, failure to signal turn, moving from lane unsafely, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Legere will appear in the Town of Hanover Court at a later date.
