A Jamestown woman who was wanted out of Erie, Pennsylvania in connection with a 2023 assault was taken into custody Thursday night. The Jamestown Police Department and Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office were working a joint GIVE detail at about 10:00 PM, when they responded to an address on the city's west side for a warrant investigation. On arrival, they arrested 37-year-old Lisa Weaver and transported her to the Jamestown City Jail and charged as a fugitive from justice. She is being held in the Chautauqua County Jail and awaits extradition proceedings.
