The project will consist of two apartment houses -- one with 48 units in the 200 block of Washington Avenue, and the other with 30 units next to Save-a-Lot on East 4th Street. 16 of those apartments will be reserved for eligible veterans with disabilities who have experienced homelessness.

Thursday's ceremony was the second of two in the Dunkirk-Fredonia area featuring Governor Hochul. Earlier in the day, she participated in a beam-signing ceremony at the future Northern Chautauqua Hospital in Fredonia.
