Hochul, Officials Gather for Beam Signing at Future Northern Chautauqua Hospital

New York's top elected official traveled to the Dunkirk-Fredonia area on Thursday to celebrate milestones for two area projects. Governor Kathy Hochul's first stop was the site of the future Northern Chautauqua Hospital in Fredonia, where hospital leadership, community stakeholders and several local officials gathered for a beam-signing ceremony. Hochul also mentioned that $124 million -- more than half of the funding -- for the $224 million project comes from the state. Kaleida Health President and CEO Don Boyd called it a "historic and monumental" moment for the project. He says the new state-of-the-art hospital will have a meaningful impact on patients and patient care for generations to come...
