Several fire departments battled a house fire in the Town of Ellicott early Thursday. Chautauqua County dispatchers say crews from Fluvanna, Ellery Center, Bemus Point, Gerry, Sinclairville, Falconer and Lakewood were called to 3521 Fluvanna Avenue Extension shortly after midnight and were on scene for approximately three hours. The Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team was also called to look into the cause. No further information has been made available at this time.
