New York's largest fair returns Wednesday in nearby Erie County. Opening ceremonies for the 186th edition of the Erie County Fair are slated for 11:30 AM at the fairgrounds in Hamburg. The fair, which dates back to 1820, will have a theme of "Stars, Stripes & Summer Nights" in celebration of America's 250th anniversary with patriotic touches and special programming throughout the fairgrounds. The fair will run through Sunday, August 23rd.
