
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop Wednesday afternoon and evening across Western New York, as an area of low pressure moves through. The National Weather Service in Buffalo says some storms may contain isolated strong to damaging wind gusts, with a lesser risk of isolated large hail. According to the National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center, the entire region is under a marginal severe weather risk, with the main window for severe storms from 2:00-10:00 PM.
