County's 2nd Annual History Expo Hailed as Big Success

Chautauqua County Historian Norman Carlson says the county's 2nd annual History Expo held at the former Mayville High School was a big success. Carlson was lead organizer of Sunday's event, which had an overall theme of "America 250." He says they accomplished most of their objectives with the number of exhibitors on hand, adding that the four lecturers lived up to the event's expectations. Carlson says the number of exhibitors increased this year from 48 to 52, and he especially thanked Expo Manager Andrew Kolstee from Jamestown for doing a lot of the work on this year's program.
