The air quality across New York continues to worsen as smoke from hundreds of Canadian wildfires blankets the state. Thursday morning, the State DEC downgraded the air quality index (AQI) for much of the state, including Western New York. It's among the regions where the AQI has gone from "unhealthy" to "very unhealthy." Governor Kathy Hochul, who gave an update in Albany, says it will be very unhealthy to be outdoors...
