Two Jamestown men are facing charges after an investigation into the tampering of several BPU utility poles on the city's north side. Jamestown Police were called to the area of Lakeview Avenue and Buffalo Street just before 12:00 PM Tuesday for a report of a male cutting ground wires from several poles. Officers say 41-year-old Christopher Haberberger and 58-year-old Delbert Clark were taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. Haberberger is charged with 3rd-degree criminal mischief, possession of burglar's tools, 2nd-degree criminal tampering, and petit larceny. Clark faces counts of 5th-degree criminal possession of stolen property and 5th-degree conspiracy.
