An investigation into a littering complaint in the area of Jamestown's Riverwalk Park escalated when one person allegedly threatened to punch a police officer. Jamestown Police were in the area shortly after 6:00 PM Thursday and gathered information from several individuals in the park. While that was happening, 38-year-old Joshua Eddy became upset with officers and made his alleged threat. According to police, Eddy refused to provide his pedigree information and continued to yell and swear in the public park in the presence of several citizens. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. Eddy faces charges of 2nd-degree harassment, 2nd-degree obstruction, disorderly conduct, and a City Code violation for littering.
