AAA Projects Record Travel for Independence Day Holiday Period

The long weekend is expected to be a record one for travel as Americans celebrate Independence Day. AAA is forecasting about 72.2 million people to travel at least 50 miles from home for the holiday, which is up from last year's record of 71.8 million.
