Dangerous Heat and Humidity to Impact Much of New York State

Much of the East Coast will be feeling the heat and the humidity throughout the course of this week, as a dome of high pressure hovers over the region. The National Weather Service in Buffalo says the air mass will become quite uncomfortable for many pepole across Western New York. Shane Kearns: we'll start to feel the heat on Tuesday

Kearns adds that starting Tuesday, dewpoints will reach the low 70s and could eventually get into the mid 70s, which will result in heat index values hitting triple digits in some areas...

Shane Kearns: could hit mid to upper 100s

Kearns says in Chautauqua County, it should feel like 95-100 degrees during each of the next three days and possibly up to 105 on Thursday.
