
Jamestown Police took a city man into custody after an investigation into a report of a person with a weapon late Sunday night. Officers responded to the area of East 2nd Street and Winsor Street at about 11:30 PM and determined that 32-year-old Joseph Novak had allegedly pointed an imitation pistol at the victim while threatening them. Officer quickly located Novak, who was allegedly found to possess that pistol. He was taken to the Jamestown City Jail to await arraignment on charges of 3rd-degree criminal possession of a weapon and 2nd-degree menacing.
