
A Clymer man is facing charges for allegedly operating a boat on Chautauqua Lake while having a BAC of more than two-and-a-half times the legal limit on Saturday. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies conducted a stop of a vessel on the lake that was found to be operating in excess of its seating capacity shortly after 6:45 PM. According to deputies, an investigation determined that 26-year-old Ivan Hostetler was operating the vessel while intoxicated. He was allegedly found to have a BAC of .21%. Hostetler was charged with boating while intoxicated and reckless operation, and he was released with tickets for Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.
