Two Western New Yorkers, including a Jamestown woman, are facing federal child pornography charges in separate complaints. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced Thursday that 22-year-old Kimony Hamilton of Albion was arrested and charged with distribution and possession of child pornography. Meanwhile, 28-year-old Kaitlyn Seekings was charged with receipt and possession of child pornography. The complaints resulted from investigations by Homeland Security Investigations and New York State Police.
According to prosecutors, State Police received multiple reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) in March 2025 that Snapchat users identified as Hamilton and Seekings had uploaded image files of suspected child pornography. In July 2025, troopers executed a search warrant at an Albion address, during which they spoke with an individual later identified as Hamilton, who allegedly stated that he received child pornography from a friend he met online named "Kate Seekings." Subsequent investigation recovered messages shared between the two during which they allegedly shared files containing child pornography, as well as discussed meeting in Jamestown so that Hamilton could have sex with a 13-year-old female that Seekings would provide access to.
If convicted, both Hamilton and Seekings face anywhere from 5-20 years in federal prison.
