A crash in the Town of Pomfret on Thursday has left two individuals hospitalized. Deputies with the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office and officers with the New York State Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Shumla Road shortly after 6:00 PM. One vehicle operator was transported by Cassadaga Fire/EMS to Brooks Memorial Hospital, and the other was flown by STAT MedEvac to UPMC Hamot with non-life-threatening injuries.
