Boil Water Order in Fredonia Expected to Continue into Weekend

It appears that the Village of Fredonia's latest boil water order may last into the weekend, as efforts continue to bring down turbidity levels at the water treatment plant. WDOE News got an update Thursday morning from Fredonia Mayor Mike Ferguson, who says those levels are still high after an overdose of chemicals led to the current boil order that was issued Tuesday. All water distribution events will take place at the Fredonia Fire Hall. Fire Chief Joshua Myers says the next public update on the boil order will be issued Saturday morning.
