A Stockton man died following a motorcycle crash in the Town of Kiantone Wednesday evening. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies were joined by State Police, Kiantone Fire and Chautauqua County Emergency Services in responding to the area of Route 62 and Route 60 shortly after 6:15 PM. The Sheriff's Office says an investigation determined that 49-year-old Thad Keefer was traveling west on Route 62 and was trying to pass other vehicles when he lost control of his motorcycle and went into a ditch before coming airborne. Keefer was taken to UPMC Chautauqua by ambulance and later pronounced dead.
