The Fredonia Central School District will once again switch from a full day to a half-day of school for both the Wheelock and Elementary schools on Tuesday, with another day of increased heat and humidity in the forecast. Students at both schools will be dismissed, and buses will depart at 11:30 AM. District officials say they will monitor the temperature throughout the day and will announce any further adjustments for the week as soon as possible. Meanwhile, the district says the Middle School will remain on half-days for the entire week as previously scheduled, and the High School's Regents Exam schedule will remain unchanged.
