A Forestville man is facing multiple felony charges stemming from a lengthy investigation into multiple burglaries at a factory building in the south county. The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office and State Police received complaints last October that several thousand dollars of copper materials and other property was stolen from inside the building on Fairbanks Road in the Town of Harmony on multiple occasions. After several months of investigation, the Sheriff's Office has charged 45-year-old Larry Whitehill, Jr. with 3rd-degree burglary, 3rd-degree grand larceny, and 3rd-degree criminal mischief. He was issued appearance tickets for Harmony Town Court.
