A Dunkirk man is facing charges after an investigation into a one-vehicle crash in the Town of Dunkirk late Friday morning. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies responded to a location on Route 5 near the South Shore Motor Lodge shortly after 11:45 AM. The investigation determined that the driver, 43-year-old Andrew Betts, was allegedly impaired by drugs. Deputies charged Betts with DWAI-drugs, failure to keep right, and moving from lane unsafely, and he was released with traffic tickets for Dunkirk Town Court.
