
Six people have been taken into custody following an investigation into narcotics activity at a residence in the Village of Fredonia. Narcotics investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, Dunkirk Police Department, Jamestown Police Department and Fredonia Police Department executed a search warrant at 166 Newton Street shortly before 5:30 AM Thursday, with entry gained by the Sheriff's Office SWAT Team. Investigators located 27-year-old Dakota Cordell, 34-year-old Brett Plucinski, 36-year-old Joseph Culmo, 31-year-old Nicholas Culmo, 26-year-old Faith Grisanti and 63-year-old Richard Culmo inside the residence. As a result of the search, investigators seized 81.8 grams of fentanyl, six handguns, a rifle, 50 suboxone strips, a quantity of oxycodone, scales and packaging material for the sale and distribution of narcotics and $6,170 in cash. Cordell, Grisanti, Plucinski, Joseph Culmo and Nicholas Culmo were all charged with two counts of 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and 2nd-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Cordell was additionally charged with 4th-degree criminal possession of a weapon and had three arrest warrants. Joseph Culmo also had an arrest warrant from Fredonia Village Court. Richard Culmo was charged with 1st-degree criminal nuisance. He was released on an appearance ticket, while the other five suspects were transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
