The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office has charged an inmate at the County Jail with 1st-degree promoting prison contraband and 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after a search of her cell Monday afternoon. According to the Sheriff's Office, corrections officers at the jail seized a quantity of methamphetamine that allegedly belonged to 24-year-old Savannah Dorsey-Carter. She will answer the charges in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.
