With one of the world's largest semiconductor producers receiving $6.1 billion in federal grants, upstate New York will be designated as a National Workforce Hub. President Joe Biden made the announcement Thursday afternoon during a stop in Syracuse, where Micron Technology will invest $100 billion in the area over the next 20+ years, the single largest manufacturing investment in New York's history.
