Local Boys & Girls Club Holding Annual Dinner Gala on Friday

The Boys & Girls Club of Northern Chautauqua County is holding one of its major fundraising events of the year on Friday. The club's annual dinner gala gets underway at 6:00 PM at Shorewood Country Club in Dunkirk, and the occasion will be used to honor three individuals and their respective organizations. The third honoree will be Gary Schutrum of the Boys & Girls Club of East Aurora.

Friday's dinner is sold out, but Borrello says they are seeking donations for the basket raffle and silent auction that are scheduled during the dinner. She adds that they are also accepting donations for their Great Futures Scholarship, which provides funds to help families offset the costs of the club's summer program.
