Budget discussions highlighted Monday's Fredonia Village Board meeting, as trustees continue working towards a final spending proposal for the 2024-2025 fiscal year. Three budget hearings were held at Village Hall last week, and Trustee Michelle Twichell says another hearing will take place on Friday. Twichell says the board needs to further examine the budget, which currently calls for a property tax increase of nearly 19%...
