Fredonia water customers will soon be paying more for their water. On Monday, the Village Board voted 3-2 to adopt a local law to raise the village's water rate by $2.00 per 1,000 gallons. Wandel stated that he wanted to look at the "root cause" of the village's water issues before dealing with an increase. The measure will raise the village's water rate from $4.95 to $6.95.
