Remains of second body located in the town of Portland

Investigators now believe the remains of a second body have been found in the area near Woleben Road in the town of Portland. The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office has been working with the Mercyhurst Forensic Anthropology Department and the County's Forensic Investigation Team on the case, first reported Sunday afternoon. Quattrone-Mercyhurst continues its analysis of the remains

The remains of the first body were located not far from a hiking trail located near Woleben Road.

UPDATE: Investigators believe the first body belonged to a female. There is no indication of the age or gender of the second set of remains.
