The Ashville Free Library will hold its annual Book Sale on Friday, August 7th from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday, August 8th from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM. This year's book sale offers many brand-new fiction books, some collectable books, and a wide selection of nonfiction, as well as games, puzzles, children's books and toys and DVDs. Hardcovers, fine softcovers and DVDs and puzzles are $1.00 and 50 cents for small paperbacks. Children's books are 50 cents, with smaller paperbacks going five for $1.00. On Saturday, bags of books may be purchased for $5.00. Henry the cat is not for sale, but can be glimpsed watching shoppers from his office. The library will be closed for regular business during all days of the sale.
