The Lakeshore Humane Society will hold a Father's Day Weekend drive-thru/pick-up Weidner's Chicken Barbecue on Saturday, June 15 from 12 noon to 3 PM at the Lakeshore Humane Society Adoption Center, 431 E. Chestnut Street in Dunkirk. The dinner includes a half chicken, buttered potatoes, cole slaw, and roll. Tickets are $16. Please purchase your pre-sale tickets by June 5 online at lakeshorehumanesociety.org (go to "More Info" and then select the "Shop" page) or in-person at LHS Open Adoption Hours, Wednesdays from 6 to 8 PM and Saturdays from noon to 3 PM. Pre-sale ticket purchase is strongly encouraged; a limited number of dinners might be available the day of the event, but cannot be assured.) On this day before Father's Day, there will also be a bake sale where everyone can purchase delicious Father's Day treats and a fabulous basket raffle to help the efforts of the Lakeshore Humane Society.
