A Jamestown woman was arrested for allegedly issuing a bad check. State Police received a complaint from a caller, who told troopers that he accepted a $900 check from 23-year-old Corrine Pollaro and was later advised by his bank soon after that the check was returned for insufficient funds. Attempts to obtain the funds from Pollaro civilly using a bad check packet were unsuccessful. Pollaro was arrested by troopers on Sunday on a charge of issuing a bad check and was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail, pending arraignment.
