A man from Wayne County faces a petit larceny charge after an investigation into a shoplifting complaint at a convenience store in the Village of Mayville on Monday. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene at about 11:15 AM and determined that 40-year-old Ryan Lawliss of Ontario allegedly stole property from the business. He was issued an appearance ticket for Chautauqua Town Court.
