The Jamestown Police Department reports the following arrests during the month of April:
On April 1st, Jamestown Police were called to a downtown business at about 10:15 AM for an unwanted male. 40-year-old Richard Goodman III was allegedly refusing to leave and screaming in the lobby. Officers say Goodman became combative as they tried to escort him off the property. He was taken into custody after a brief struggle and charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
On April 2nd, officers were working a GIVE hotspot detail in the area of Newland Avenue and Sampson Street at about 6:45 PM, when they saw 28-year-old Todd Dellahoy walking on Newland Avenue. They ordered Dellahoy to stop, but he did not, and he led officers on a short foot pursuit. He was apprehended a short time later and charged with resisting arrest and outstanding warrants.
On April 3rd, officers arrested 38-year-old Billy Mullins after he was seen walking in the area of East 6th Street and Lincoln Street shortly before 7:30 PM. Officers patrolling the area were aware that Mullins had an active warrant from Warren, Pennsylvania. He was taken into custody without incident and was held pending arraignment and extradition.
On April 3rd, Jamestown Police stopped a vehicle in the area of Water Street and King Street shortly before 7:30 PM for observed traffic infractions. Officers determined that the occupants of the vehicle -- Jeffrey Kolb and Jamal Turner, both of Buffalo -- were allegedly in possession of a quantity of fentanyl. Officers add that Kolb was found to have an outstanding warrant from the West Seneca Police Department. Kolb and Turner were both charged with 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Kolb was also charged on his warrant, while Turner was issued traffic citations.
On April 4th, officers working a GIVE detail saw a vehicle commit a traffic infraction in the area of South Main Street and Harrison Street at about 12:45 AM. Further investigation found that the driver, 42-year-old Tremayne Green, was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. He was charged with DWI and a traffic infraction.
On April 4th, officers responded to an address on the city's east side for a trespassing complaint. 52-year-old Michael Cook and 34-year-old Ashley Stingel were located inside a condemned residence. Both were charged with 3rd-degree criminal trespass.
On April 4th, Jamestown Police were called to an area on the city's north side at about 7:15 AM for a possible drunk driver. Officers arrived and made contact with 58-year-old James Geist, who was allegedly determined to be operating the vehicle in an intoxicated state. He was charged with DWI and released with an appearance ticket.
On April 5th, officers responded to an address on the city's south side for a reported domestic dispute on progress in the middle of a street shortly after 9:45 AM. 37-year-old Christopher Dellahoy was located in the presence of the victim. Police were aware of a valid stay-away order of protection against Dellahoy protecting the victim in this case. Dellahoy began to flee on his bike, but was stopped shortly after and was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with 2nd-degree criminal contempt.
On April 5th, Jamestown Police were called to a report of a burglary in progress at the Dahlstrom Manufacturing complex at 443 Buffalo Street shortly after 1:30 PM. On arrival, officers were advised by the victim that two suspects had fled the scene. 19-year-old Steven Osborne and a 17-year-old juvenile from Hamburg were located a short distance away and taken into custody without incident. Osborne was charged with 3rd-degree criminal trespass, while the minor was turned over to another party and was to be charged at a later time.
On April 5th, Jamestown Police responded to a report of an unresponsive male in the driver's seat of a running vehicle on the city's south side shortly before 4:30 PM. The driver, 23-year-old Sven Anderson, was allegedly found to be intoxicated. He was charged with DWI and aggravated DWI.
On April 8th, officers responded to a trespassing complaint at a condemned building on West 2nd Street near Jefferson Street at about 2:00 PM. 44-year-old Hector DeJesus was located inside the building. He was charged with 3rd-degree criminal trespass.
On April 9th, Jamestown Police responded to an address on the city's south side for a domestic incident. Further investigation discovered that 44-year-old Roberto Figueroa-Arroyo allegedly shoved a female victim several times during a verbal dispute. There was also a valid order of protection ordering him to refrain from offensive contact against the victim. Figueroa-Arroyo was charged with 2nd-degree harassment and 1st-degree criminal contempt.
On April 10th, officers patrolling the city's south side saw a motor vehicle with an equipment violation at about 5:15 PM. Following a traffic stop, they discovered that 32-year-old Daniel Pokrajac had multiple felony and misdemeanor arrest warrants out of
the state of Florida. He was being charged with being a fugitive from justice and was also issued traffic tickets.
On April 10th, 30-year-old Dustin Smouse was taken into custody on charges of 4th-degree criminal mischief and 2nd-degree criminal contempt. Officers responded to an address on the city's south side at about 8:00 PM on a report of a woman screaming for help. An investigation found that Smouse allegedly damaged a quantity of household items during a domestic dispute with someone with whom he has a "no offensive contact" order of protection.
On April 11th, Serena Ellis with 2nd-degree criminal contempt. Officers were called to a residence on the city's south side shortly after 5:45 PM and located Ellis at the residence. According to police, there was a valid order of protection for her to stay away from that location.
On April 12th, 38-year-old Timothy Jackson of Highland Hills, New York was charged with DWI and other traffic infractions. Officers patrolling the downtown area pulled over Jackson in the area of West 3rd Street and Cherry Street shortly before 12:30 AM. Further investigation found that he was allegedly intoxicated.
On April 12th, officers charged 25-year-old Shannan Lamer of Cherry Creek with DWI, resisting arrest, and additional traffic violations after seeing a vehicle commit several violations on the city's south side shortly after 5:00 AM. After stopping the vehicle in the area of Newland Avenue and Foote Avenue, Lamer was allegedly found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody after a brief struggle.
On April 12th, Jamestown Police stopped a vehicle on the city's east side for traffic infractions at about 2:15 PM. The driver, 20-year-old Julio Arizmendi, was allegedly violating a stay-away order of protection with two victims in the vehicle. He was charged with two counts of 2nd-degree criminal contempt and was also issued traffic tickets.
On April 12th, officers were called to an address on the city's north side at about 11:30 PM on a report of an unwanted person and order of protection violation. On arrival, 35-year-old Vanessa Stevens was inside the victim's home, and further investigation found that she had an active order of protection to stay away from the victim and the residence. Stevens was charged with 2nd-degree criminal contempt.
On April 17th, 22-year-old Alexis Wynn was taken into custody after a traffic stop on the city's west side. Jamestown Police saw a vehicle commit a violation and pulled over the vehicle at the intersection of Fairmount Avenue and Cook Avenue shortly after 1:15 AM. A subsequent investigation found that Wynn was allegedly driving while intoxicated. She was charged with DWI and additional traffic violations.
On April 18th, Jamestown Police pulled over a vehicle for an observed infraction in the city's downtown area at about 7:00 AM. An investigation found that the driver, 32-year-old Jacob Matherly, had a stay-away order of protection against a female who was the passenger. Matherly was charged with 2nd-degree criminal contempt.
On April 18th, 27-year-old Justin Conklin was taken into custody after a report of an unwanted male at a residence on the city's north side. Officers were called to the scene shortly after 10:30 AM and located Conklin walking out of the back entrance. Officers say Conklin had an order of protection to stay away from the victim and their property and also had multiple outstanding felony warrants from a similar incident the previous day. Conklin was charged with 2nd-degree criminal contempt, in addition to his warrants.
On April 22nd, officers responded to an address on the city's north side for a reported trespassing complaint at about 8:45 AM. On arrival, 38-year-old Kenneth Lamb III and 25-year-old Taylor Lane were found sleeping on the floor of a condemned apartment. Both individuals were charged with 3rd-degree criminal trespass.
On April 26th, Jamestown Police arrested 22-year-old Taylor Crofoot after they saw a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the downtown area at about 1:30 AM. Officers stopped the vehicle, which had no taillights on, and they determined that Crofoot was allegedly driving while intoxicated. He was charged with DWI, speeding, and no/insufficient tail lamps.
On April 26th, officers were patrolling the area of East 6th Street and Fulton Street shortly after 1:45 AM, when they pulled over a vehicle for observed traffic infractions. An investigation found that the driver, 25-year-old Kiara Slaughter, was allegedly intoxicated. She was charged with DWI and aggravated DWI.
